Summary:ABSTRACT Online learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic is an alternative solution for students and lecturers, but in practice it faces challenges and readiness, especially for practical lectures. The purpose of this research is to explore the dynamics of academic adjustment of new FPIC new students to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The approach used in this study is explorative qualitative through interviews with 10 respondents. The results show that limitations in online learning have an impact on the learning experience of new FPOK students. This study found that FPOK students were able to adjust academically during online learning during the pandemic because it was driven by the need for students to excel such as mastering movements in practice and achieving grades in assignments. The academic adjustment process that was mostly carried out was utilizing existing technology such as watching YouTube. and Google. Keywords: Academic adjustment, Student, COVID-19 Pandemic
