Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kemajuan kegiatan siswa dan guru serta meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa yang optimal. Model Project Based Learning adalah model pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau aktivitas sebagai media. Siswa ditugaskan untuk mengeksplorasi, menafsirkan, mensintesis, dan mengevaluasi informasi dalam meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu model spiral Kemmis dan MC Taggart, digunakan untuk memfasilitasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian, yang dilakukan pada siswa di kelas VA di SDN1 Nagritengah menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, setelah melalui tiga kali siklus pembelajaran, baik aktivitas siswa dan guru begitu juga dengan hasil belajar siswa. Proses pembelajaran IPS di kelas VA, awalnya diduga belum dilaksanakan dengan baik, guru meningkatkannya dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang membuat siswa lebih aktif dan terlibat langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Dari pelaksanaan tindakan kelas ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning dalam pembelajaran IPS dikatakan berhasil untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VA di SDN 1 Nagritengah. ----- Learning Social Sciences (IPS) Class VA at SDN 1 Nagritengah is thought to be inadequate due to a lack of student participation and involvement in the learning process, which ultimately results in less than optimal student learning outcomes. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the progress of student and teacher activities as well as increasing optimal student learning outcomes. The Project Based Learning model is a project or activity based learning model as a medium. Students are assigned to explore, interpret, synthesize, and evaluate information in improving learning outcomes. The research method uses classroom action research methods, namely the Kemmis and MC Taggart spiral models, used to facilitate students in the learning process. The research, which was conducted on students in the VA class at SDN 1 Nagritengah showed a significant increase, after going through three cycles of learning, both student and teacher activities as well as student learning outcomes. Initially, it was suspected that the social studies learning process in the VA class had not been carried out properly, the teacher improved it by applying a project-based learning model that made students more active and directly involved in the learning process. From the implementation of this class action it was concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning model in social studies learning was said to be successful in increasing the learning outcomes of VA class students at SDN 1 Nagritengah. | ||
