Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterlibatan guru di KKG terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi pedagogik terhadap mutu kinerja mengajar, dan pengaruh keterlibatan guru terhadap mutu kinerja mengajar melalui peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar kepada 81 guru Sekolah Dasar se-Kecamatan Metro Barat. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa secara umum keterlibatan guru di KKG, kompetensi pedagogik, dan kinerja mengajar mempunyai katagori 'baik'. Hasil analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan guru di KKG, mutu kinerja mengajar dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi pedagogik, dan mutu kinerja mengajar guru dipengaruhi oleh keterlibatan guru di KKG melalui peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik. Rekomendasi yang diberikan dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja mengajar adalah keterlibatan yang serius dalam mengikuti kegiatan di KKG dan menambah wawasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. This thesis was guided by Prof. DR. H. Agus Rahayu, M.Si. and Dr. Danny Meirawan, M.Pd. A teacher as the facilitator is responsible to decides on the approach, techniques, procedures, materials, and teaching aids in class. S/He take the whole responsibility of the process of learning and teaching. Quality education needs teacher who has quality teaching performance. This objective of this research is to investigate the influence of teacher involvement in KKG towards pedagogic competence improvement, pedagogic competence towards quality teaching performance, and teacher involvement towards quality teaching performance through improvement pedagogic competence. This research use questionnaires that are distributed to 81 primary school teachers in the District of West Metro. The results of data analysis show that generally teacher involvement in KKG, pedagogic competence, and teaching performance have a 'good' catagory. Based on hypothesis analysis show that pedagogic competence improvement is influenced by teacher involvement, teaching performance quality is influenced by pedagogic competence, and teaching performance quality is influenced by teacher involvement in KKG through pedagogic competence improvement. Recommendations which can be use to improve teaching performance are seriously involve in KKG activities and absolutly increase knowledges and skills.
