Setiap individu pasti memerlukan informasi. Hampir setiap individu kaya akan informasi untuk memenuhi segala kebutuhannya. Perpustakaan merupakan penyedia informasi yang ada di sekolah. Kebutuhan informasi akan timbul ketika setiap individu merasa kurang dengan pengetahuan yang dimilikinya. Ketersediaan koleksi bahan pustaka yang ada di perpustakaan merupakan salah satu cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi. Adanya koleksi bahan pustaka yang memadai akan membuat pemustaka merasa puas. Kepuasan pemustaka dapat dijadikan sebagai tolak ukur dari keberhasilan perpustakaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pemustaka terhadap ketersediaan koleksi yang ada di Perpustakaan SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Kurangnya ketersediaan koleksi yang ada di Perpustakaan SMK Negeri 1 Bandung menjadikan salah satu alasan untuk peneliti mengetahui ketersediaan koleksi dari aspek relevansi koleksi, kelengkapan koleksi serta kemutakhiran koleksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan kuisioner sebagai teknik di dalam pengumpulan data. Teknik pengambilan sampel di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah 96 orang responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan pemustaka terhadap ketersediaan koleksi yang ada di Perpustakaan SMK Negeri 1 Bandung sudah sangat baik. Begitupula pada indikator relevansi koleksi tingkat kepuasan pemustaka menunjukkan hasil yang sangat baik. Sedangkan, di dalam indikator kelengkapan dan kemutakhiran koleksi menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Hampir seluruhnya para pemustaka setuju dengan ketersediaan koleksi yang ada sudah di dalam tingkatan yang baik. Every individual must need information. Almost every individual is rich in information to meet all his needs. The library is a provider of information in schools. Information needs will arise when each individual feels lacking in the knowledge he has. The availability of a collection of library materials in the library is one way to meet information needs. The existence of an adequate collection of library materials will make the user feel satisfied. User satisfaction can be used as a measure of the success of the library. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of user satisfaction with the availability of collections in the Library of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. The lack of availability of collections in the Library of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung is one of the reasons for researchers to find out the availability of collections from the aspects of collection relevance, collection completeness and collection updates. The research method used in this research is descriptive quantitative by using a questionnaire as a technique in data collection. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling with a total of 96 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the level of user satisfaction with the availability of collections in the Library of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung is very good. Likewise on the collection relevance indicator the level of user satisfaction shows very good results. Meanwhile, the indicators for completeness and up-to-date collections showed good results. Almost all users agree that the availability of existing collections is already at a good level.
