Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kurikulum merdeka melalui profil pelajar pancasila yang digunakan dibeberapa sekolah penggerak sebagai upaya mengoptimalkan karakter siswa. Melalui observasi awal pada tempat penelitian bahwa sekolah sudah menerapkan kurikulum merdeka melalui penerapan profil pelajar pancasila, namun masih ditemui permasalahan yaitu kurangnya kemandirian dan tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penerapan profil pelajar pancasila dalam penguatan karakter mandiri siswa, strategi yang digunakan guru untuk penguatan karakter mandiri siswa melalui profil pelajar pancasila, serta hambatan dan solusi dalam penerapan profil pelajar pancasila untuk penguatan karakter mandiri siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Kak Seto, Kota Tangerang Selatan pada bulan Juni Tahun 2023. Fokus dalam penelitian ini yaitu penerapan profil pelajar pancasila dalam penguatan karakter mandiri siswa berdasarkan dimensi mandiri profil pelajar pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pedoman wawancara dan lembar angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan profil pelajar pancasila dalam penguatan karakter mandiri siswa kelas IV SD di Sekolah Kak Seto Kota Tangerang Selatan telah melaksanakan kegiatan pembiasaan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila). Terdapat dua strategi yang digunakan guru untuk penguatan karakter mandiri siswa yaitu strategi memberikan ruang dan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berkembang dan strategi membangun kedekatan secara personal kepada siswa. Hambatan yang ditemui yaitu faktor internal adanya kendala dari keterbatasan siswa inklusi dan faktor eksternal yaitu orang tua siswa yang kurang kooperatif. Solusi terhadap faktor internal yaitu adanya pendampingan tutor pendamping khusus, pemberian stimulus yang lebih ekstra dan penggunaan media yang tepat pada siswa inklusi. Sedangkan solusi terhadap faktor eksternal yaitu melakukan pendekatan dan pemanggilan orang tua siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penerapan profil pelajar pancasila yang dilaksanakan guru sudah terimplementasi dengan baik terhadap penguatan karakter mandiri siswa kelas IV SD di Sekolah Kak Seto yang sekarang ini sudah mulai lebih mandiri. ------- The research was motivated by the existence of an independent curriculum through the Pancasila student profile which was used in several driving schools as an effort to optimize student character. Through initial observations at the research site that schools have implemented an independent curriculum through the application of the Pancasila student profile, but there are still problems encountered, namely the lack of independence and student responsibility in learning. The study aims to describe how the application of the Pancasila student profile in strengthening the independent character of students, the strategies used by teachers to strengthen the independent character of students through the Pancasila student profile, as well as obstacles and solutions in the application of the Pancasila student profile for strengthening the independent character of grade IV elementary school students. The research was conducted at Kak Seto School, South Tangerang City in June 2023. The focus in this study is the application of the Pancasila student profile in strengthening the independent character of students based on the independent dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research instruments used were interview guidelines and questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the application of the Pancasila student profile in strengthening the independent character of grade IV elementary school students at Kak Seto School in South Tangerang City has carried out habituation activities, extracurricular activities, and P5 activities (Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project). There are two strategies used by teachers to strengthen students' independent character, namely the strategy of providing space and opportunities for students to develop and the strategy of building personal closeness to students. The obstacles encountered are internal factors, there are constraints from student inclusion limitations and external factors, namely parents of students who are less cooperative. Solutions to internal factors are the assistance of special tutors, the provision of extra stimulus and the use of appropriate media for inclusion students. While the solution to external factors is to approach and call parents. Based on the results of the study, the application of the Pancasila student profile carried out by teachers has been well implemented to strengthen the independent character of grade IV elementary school students at Kak Seto School which has now begun to be more independent.
