Summary: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di sekolah dasar kelas V. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan serta pengaruh dari model Project Based Learning berbantuan Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Sampel penelitian ini siswa VB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa VC sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data pada model Project Based Learning berbantuan Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle memperoleh peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 61,97 (kategori sedang) sedangkan pada pembelajaran konvensional memperoleh peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 31,45 (kategori sedang) serta terdapat pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sebesar 42% dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan diperoleh kesimpulan: (1) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa menggunakan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional; (2) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Project Based Learning berbantuan Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. ----- This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students. This study aims to determine the increase and influence of the Project Based Learning model assisted by Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle on students critical thinking skills. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was VB students as the experimental class and VC students as the control class. Based on the results of data processing in the Project Based Learning model assisted by Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle, it obtained an increase in students' critical thinking skills of 61.97 (medium category) while in conventional learning it obtained an increase in students' critical thinking abilities of 31.45 (medium category) and there was an influence on students' critical thinking skills by 42% using the Project Based Learning model assisted by the Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle. Based on the data processing that has been done, it can be concluded: (1) There is an increase in students' critical thinking skills using the Project Based Learning model assisted by Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle which is better than conventional learning; (2) There is an effect of using the Project Based Learning model assisted by the Smart Apps Creator Water Cycle on students' critical thinking skills. |
