Summary:Bandung has an environmental damage such as floods and congestion, and land conversion due to massive resource exploitation and low caring behavior for the environment. The community, especially students, plays a role in overcoming, reducing and overcoming environmental damage through the application of ecoliteracy in daily activities with the aim of pioneering the wider community to behave in caring for the environment. The purpose of this research is to reveal the contribution of students ecoliteracy to environmental care behavior in SMAN 1 Bandung. This research is a quantitative research, with survey methods. The population in this study was students at SMA Negeri 1 Bandung, with a sample of 140 students in grade 11 with a total of four classes from the social studies department. There are two research variations, including the level of ecoliteracy in students and environmentally caring behavior in students. The instruments used are in the form of multiple choice and questionnaires of 80 questions. Data collection techniques through the dissemination of tests and questionnaires online (google form). The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and inferential through scoring, classifying, and simple regression tests. The results of this study show that the level of ecoliteracy of learners has a tendency in the medium category. Environmental care behavior in students has a tendency to the good category. Ecoliteracy of students contributes and has a significant impact in build of environmentally caring behavior in SMAN 1 Bandung. Ecoliteracy development should be evaluated by education units indefinitely to build environmentally caring behavior at the high category level.
