Summary

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued the latest regulations regarding the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of Public Companies. OJK Regulation Number 16 / POJK.04 / 2020 is one of the steps taken by the government in preventing the spread of Covid-19. This research is focused on the General Meeting of Shareholders of Public Companies which were conducted with electronic media based on this POJK and the casting of the GMS deeds compiled through the GMS which were conducted electronically according to the OJK Regulations and the Law on Limited Liability Companies (UUPT). The research method used in this research is normative research with a statutory approach. An electronic GMS of a Public Company can be held legally and the resulting GMS deed can be used as legal evidence in court. This OJK regulation is a solution to problems related to postponement of the GMS where the company can continue to run during the Covid-19 emergency.
