| Summary: | Online motorcycle drivers are required to stay awake and alert so that they can complete their work to get their destination. Most online motorcycle drivers have an uncontrolled diet according to balanced nutrition guidelines. also they have heavy accustomed to consume coffee and cigarettes to reduce sleepness. This condition will have a negative impact on their sleep patterns. This study was conducted to determine the relationship of food intake, coffee consumption and smoking habits with the sleep patterns of online motorcycle driver Cipedak, South Jakarta. This research used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 30 respondents conducted by purposive sampling. This research was conducted in January 2021. The data used are primary data obtained from filling out a questionnaire. Yan relationship analysis was performed using the chi-square test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between the food intake variable (p = 0.404), the coffee consumption variable (p = 0.000) and smoking habits (p = 0.000) with sleep patterns. This shows that the food intake variable has a p value> 0.05, indicating that there is no relationship between food intake and sleep patterns. Whereas when the coffee consumption and smoking habits variables were obtained p value <0.05, which means there is a relationship between coffee consumption and smoking habits with the sleep patterns of online motorcycle drivers in the Cipedak area, South Jakarta. |
