| Summary: | Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that is often ignored by the surrounding community, causing hypertension to become uncontrolled. Uncontrolled hypertension is a condition where the blood pressure is 140/90 mmHg based on an average of three measurements. Complications of uncontrolled hypertension is chronic kidney failure. In patients with hypertension, a sign of impaired kidney function is indicated by the appearance of albuminuria. This study aims to determine the correlation between the degree of hypertension and the incidence of albuminuria in patients with uncontrolled hypertension in RW 02 Kampung Ciheuleut Desa Cimulang. The design of this study was analytic observational with a cross sectional design and included 65 respondents who were taken using a total sampling technique. Data analysis used Chi Square test with a significance level <0.05. The results obtained p value is 0.000 (p <0.05) which indicates that there is a significant relationship between the degree of hypertension and the incidence of albuminuria in patients with uncontrolled hypertension. This study is expected to be a reference for people with hypertension in order to better control hypertension and prevent unwanted complications. |
