520 |a Anemia is the most common problem in Indonesia. Lack of knowledge and behaviors are the common causes of anemia in adolescents, so it does not fulfill the intake of nutrition. One of the efforts to overcome the problem of anemia is through education using the media because it can give difficult presents to more simple presents, so it can be easier to understand. This study aims to determine the differences of nutrition education on knowledge and attitudes related to anemia in adolescent girls. The method used in this research is quasi experimental with one group pretest-postest design. 64 sample of students ini XI grade divided into 2 groups, Instagram group and Animation group. The statistical tests used are Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney. The study results showed that was no effect of nutrition education using Instagram and Animation on knowledge (p-value = 0,076) and that was an effect on attitudes (p-value = 0,005) about Anemia in adolescent girls at SMK Dental Assistant Sekesal Jakarta. The mean value of knowledge and attitudes in the Instagram group is higher than the Animation group, therefore the Instagram is more effective in increasing knowledge and attitudes about Anemia in adolescent girls at SMK Dental Assistant Sekesal Jakarta.
