In addition, one of the changes that is also experienced is the change in the reproductive organs where sexual maturity occurs. Menstruation is a cycle of periodic bleeding in the uterus and shedding of the endometrium in young woman. Menstrual cycle disorders that commonly occur in young woman are called premenstrual syndrome (PMS). This study aims to determine the correlation between nutritional status and fat intake with premenstrual syndrome in young women at SMK Tunas Grafika Informatika 2020. This research is included in a cross sectional study with the Spearman rank correlation test method. Assessment of nutritional status using google form with the self-reported recall method of body weight and height based on the respondent's last memory within 1 month. Assessment of fat intake using the Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire (SQ-FFQ). Meanwhile, Assessment of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) using the Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (sPAF). These assessment was carried out on 44 female students. The results of the analysis showed that there was no correlation between nutritional status and PMS symptoms in young women at SMK Tunas Grafika Informatika (p-value = 0,666), there was a correlation between fat intake and PMS symptoms in young women at SMK Tunas Grafika Informatika (p-value = 0,000). | ||
