| Summary: | Adolescent victims of cyberbullying need strong resilience to be able to maintain life satisfaction in order to develop positively in the short and long term.The aims of this research was to analyze the relationship between resilience and life satisfaction among adolescent victims of cyberbullying. The type of this research is a descriptive analytic study with a cross-sectional approach and analyzed by Pearson Correlation Test. The population in this research is adolescent victims of cyberbullying at SMAN 3 Muara Jambi with a smple of 109 students who were taken using a simple random sampling technique. The Child & Youth Resilience Measure-Revised (CYRM-R) instrument was used to measure resilience and the Riverside Life Satisfaction Scale (RLSS) was used to measure life satisfaction. The result of this research obtained there was a significant relationship between resilience and life satisfaction among adolescent victims of cyberbullying in SMAN 3 Muara Jambi (p=0.000). The implication of this study is to determine the relationship of resilience to teenagers who are victims of cyberbullying in a promotive effort to the impact of cyberbullying on the mental health of adolescents who experience decreased life satisfaction so that adolescents can develop positively This study is also useful for parents to be able to support teenagers in dealing with problems. |
