| Summary: | Gastritis is a health disorder in which the production of gastric acid increases which causes irritation or injury to the gastric mucosa. Factors that cause gastritis include diet, stress, coffee consumption, smoking and a family history disease. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of coffee consumption patterns and stress levels with the incidence of gastritis in adults during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Kebayoran Lama Health Center area. This study uses design cross sectional. This study uses 215 sampling using probability sampling techniques by random sampling with a 141 respondents. The results of the study with chi square test showed a significant relationship between coffee consumption patterns and gastritis incidence (p value = 0.018 ≤0.005) and a significant relationship between stress levels and gastritis incidence (p value = 0.000 ≤0.005). This research can be the latest information for the public to prevent the incidence of gastritis by reducing coffee consumption and avoiding stress, also for health workers in treating patients and for further research sources using other gastritis risk factors variables. |
