This study uses soft power theory to analyze the development of Indonesian soft power, where one of Indonesia's soft power is gastrodiplomacy. The concept of gastrodiplomacy is used to analyze the implementation of Indonesian gastrodiplomacy in Paris, who are the actors involved, the obstacles and challenges that occur, and the achievement of nation branding achieved by Indonesia through the Wonderful Indonesia restaurant in Paris. In the analysis process, the writer uses a qualitative case study method to provide descriptive answers based on the facts found. The author finds that the implementation of Indonesian gastrodiplomacy in Paris is still ineffective, especially through the Wonderful Indonesia restaurant. However, Indonesia continues to make further developments in the implementation of Indonesian gastrodiplomacy in Paris, in order to achieve positive nation branding.
