| Summary: | Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 11 article 5 paragraph 2 of 2017 states that every health service facility must implement a patient safety system, nurses who act as health workers must prioritize patient safety in order to prevent patient safety incidents. Communication factors, workload, and knowledge of nurses can contribute to the occurrence of patient safety incidents such as KTD, KTC, KNC and KPC. This study aims to determine the contribution of the workload and knowledge of nurses regarding the implementation of SBAR communication at the time of handover to patient safety incidents in the inpatient room at RSUD Depok. The research design used is quantitative with analytical descriptive research method through cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 45 respondents with a total sampling technique. The results of the workload chi-square statistical test obtained P Value = 0.025, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected and for knowledge, the P Value = 0.463, then Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between workload and patient safety incidents, and there is no relationship between knowledge and patient safety incidents. The researcher suggests to the management of the Depok Hospital to evaluate the use of time, workload, and knowledge of nurses to prevent patient safety incidents. |
