| 520 | |a Anxiety is a feeling characterized by strong negative emotions and symptoms of bodily tension, involving fear, distress, and anxiety in response to certain situations that are felt to be threatening. Factors that cause anxiety in woman with first pregnancy are triggered by several things, including: lack of preparation to become a mother, physical symptoms that begin to appear (headache, fatigue, sleepiness, frequent urination), physical changes, and description of childbirth for the first time. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of art therapy on the anxiety of woman with first pregnancy at Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipondoh. The research design used in this research is One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with non-probability sampling technique through accidental sampling method with a sample of 29 respondents. Univariate analysis used is frequency and average. The bivariate analysis used was the dependent T test or the paired T test with p value <0.5. The results of this study showed the p value of pre-intervention and post-intervention primigravida mothers with p value = 0.000 (p<0.05). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an effect of art therapy on the anxiety of woman with first pregnancy at Puskesmas Kecamatan Cipondoh.
