| Summary: | The sector with the first most dangerous job in the world is the construction sector. Work accident cases at PT. X based on audit data in 2020 it was found that around 60% of project workers had work accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of work accidents in apartment construction project workers at PT.X. This study is a quantitative study with astudy design cross-sectional. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling where the sample is 100 workers. The results of the research analysis using the chi-square statistical test obtained variables of age (p-value = 0.259), education level (p-value = 0.258), K3 knowledge (p-value 0.000), K3 supervision (p-value 0.015), K3 socialization (p-value = 0.010), top management commitment (p-value = 0.000) unsafe action (p-value 0.000), and unsafe condition (p-value 0.025) with a limit of significance = 0.05. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between OHS knowledge, OHS supervision, OHS socialization, top management commitment, unsafe act, and unsafe condition with work accidents and there is no relationship between age and work accidents and education level with work accidents. It is hoped that the company can improve OHS programs such as toolbox meetings and safety morning talks, hold OHS training, improve OHS supervision regularly and firmly, and conduct periodic reviews of work areas. |
