One of the activities that also develop with the technology is the activity of buying and selling transactions, but the convenience becomes a risk if the products sold are related to health such as drugs. The rampant circulation of hard drugs in various online media makes legal protection for consumers and BPOM supervision very important. The purpose of this research is to find out the legal protection of consumers for the circulation of hard drugs in online media, and to find out the surveillance efforts carried out by BPOM and e-commerce after the issuance of BPOM Regulation No. 8 of 2020. This research uses empirical juridical methods that have the aim to study the application of laws and regulations through direct observation of the object, as well as using the approach of legislation by referring to consumer protection law, health law and PBPOM No.8/2020, and also with case approach. This research resulted in the conclusion that consumers are protected by UUPK which contains rights and actions that are prohibited by business actors, health law, and PBPOM No.8/2020. BPOM has also conducted preventive supervision by holding socialization. In its surveillance efforts, BPOM cooperates with idEA, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Trade, and also ecommerce parties. In addition, BPOM also makes repressive efforts by applying sanctions to violators as stated in Article 32 of PBPOM No.8/2020. But before the sanctions are applied, BPOM will first conduct coaching to business actors first. If it cannot be built, it will be sanctioned in accordance with the level of death committed by the violator. Cases of the circulation of hard drugs are not as popular as they used to be after the pbpom No.8/2020. Keywords: Legal Protection, Drug Circulation, Online Media, BPOM Regulation No. 8 of 2020.
