| Summary: | This research examines the campaign strategy carried out by the Prosperous Justice Party in winning the Legislative Election at the Depok City DPRD level in 2019. This PKS victory also defeated PDIP which won the 2014 legislative election in Depok City. The purpose of this study was to determine the political campaign strategy carried out by PKS in increasing public vote acquisition in the Depok City legislative election to find out what are the supporting factors for PKS in increasing public vote acquisition in the Depok City legislative election and to find out what are the factors that hinder PKS in increasing public vote acquisition in the Depok City legislative election. The theory used in this research is Political Communication Theory and Political Campaign Theory to analyze the campaign strategy implemented by PKS. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach by seeking detailed information related to the Prosperous Justice Party's political campaign strategy in increasing vote acquisition in the legislative elections in Depok City in 2019. Collecting data by means of interviews and literature studies. The results of this paper contain an analysis of the PKS campaign strategy so that it can become a winner in the 2019 Depok City DPRD Pileg contestation as well as the program and campaign promises from PKS using the discourse analysis method. |
