| 520 | |a The use of information technology is currently growing more advanced and fast, with the existence of information exchange technology becomes easier. Government agencies are one of the parties that must start following the times by utilizing information technology to improve the quality of services to the community. Nunukan Regency is one of the new provinces located in the north of the island of Kalimantan which is rich in abundant natural resources, among others, very interesting tourist attractions. Tourism objects in Nunukan Regency are managed by the Tourism Office. For the dissemination of information about existing tourism objects is still very limited, namely using brochures and pamphlets. Promotions need to be done to increase the visiting power of tourists to tourist objects in Nunukan Regency. So we need a web- based tourism information system in Nunukan Regency. The method used in this study is the waterfall method using the PIECES system analysis. The result of this research is a web-based tourism information system using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework which consists of a tour package booking feature, an information feature consisting of hotel information, restaurants, culture, tourist attraction information features and report features. With this web, it is hoped that the public will find it easier to obtain information related to tourism in Nunukan Regency. | ||
