In this study, the problem that occurs is the metal spinning machine, which is one of the production points that plays the most role in the manufacture of downlight products. The problem that occurs is the lack of maintenance carried out so that it causes production delays or what is meant is the effectiveness of the metal spinning machine is low, due to production delays. Based on that problem, the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method is used to measure the effectiveness of the machine, then look for the main factors that cause engine damage using the Six Big Losses method. After obtaining the causative factors, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is used to analyze the problem aimed at finding the root cause of the failure of the problem as a basis for providing recommendations for improvement. From the research results, the OEE value on the machine is 76.53%, which means that it can be said that the OEE value is still below world standards. Of the Six Big Losses, the biggest damage that makes the OEE value low is idling minor and high stoppages at 38.86%. The cause of the problem is the operator is incompetent, there is no scheduled repair, the machine breakdown is quite long, the setup is not in accordance with the standard SOP. The suggestions for improvement are providing regular training programs, implementing Autonomous maintenance, making check sheets on machines and making Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) on machines. | ||
