520 |a To maintain a smooth production process, the need for maintenance functions on production machines must always be considered. The purpose of this study was to design a time schedule for inspection and preventive replacement of critical components on a transparent soap mixer machine with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II and Age Replacement, and to measure the percentage increase in machine reliability after preventive maintenance was carried out at PT. XYZ. The results of this research show that the critical components of the TS mixer machine are the Scrapper Motor and Gearbox components. The inspection schedule for the Scrapper Motor component is 165 hours, and the Gearbox component is 84 hours. Scheduling of preventive replacement (age replacement) for Scrapper Motor components is 157 hours, and for Gearbox components is 150 hours. Reliability before preventive maintenance was carried out was 50% for the Motor Scrapper component, and 55% for the Gearbox component. There is an increase in reliability after preventive maintenance is carried out. In the inspection schedule, reliability increased to 87% for Scrapper Motor components, and for Gearbox components increased to 99%. In preventive replacement scheduling, reliability increases to 85% for Scrapper Motor components, 86% for Gearbox components.
