| 520 | |a This writing was conducted to analyze the urgency of remission arrangements for corrupt convicts and the ideal setting regarding the requirements of justice collaborator for corruption convicts in the future. In this paper, the author uses the Normative Juridical Method with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the data analysis in this study will be presented in a qualitative analysis with the descriptive technique of Prescriptive Analysis, namely analyzing and explaining the various explanations presented from existing legal materials which then formulate a form of recommendation for regulatory improvement. Based on the results of this study, the authors conclude that legislation is needed, especially the law that regulates the limitation of remission rights for certain crimes including corruption. The law that explicitly regulates the requirements for remission to be willing to become a Justice Collaborator (JC) is like PP No. 99 of 2012. Besides that, the law can accommodate the weaknesses of the application of JC, so that the objectives of the JC can be fulfilled. Consideration of remission as a reward for cooperation with law enforcement officials in uncovering material truths, so that state losses can be recovered by confiscation of the assets of the perpetrators of corruption to be returned to the state | ||
