The purpose of this research is to analyze communication strategies that can improve the existence of organizations in UKM UFO Veterans Jakarta by using the theory of communication networks. This research uses a mixed quantitative - qualitative descriptive research method with a case study approach and a social constructivism paradigm. In addition, this study also uses communication network analysis techniques in 3 contexts of name generator by paying attention to the mapping of 5 stages of communication planning according to Cangara. This research results that the communication strategy that runs at UFO Veterans in following JFMI from the research, planning, implementation, evaluation, to reporting stages, can be said to be not optimal in improving the existence of the organization. There is a concentration of information on JT actors, where JT actors in each context of the communication network formed have a role as opinion leaders, gate keepers, bridges , and stars, which can influence the steps and behavior of other actors for the information they provide. Seeing from the 18 actors in the context of general information about JFMI and 32 actors in the context of information about the implementation, evaluation, and reporting of JFMI activities at UFO Veterans are isolates , which means that the actor does not get information so that there is a concentration of information on the components (k- cores) in the network. And there was no support from the campus for the participation of UFO Veterans in the JFMI activities they participated in. This resulted in less than optimal in every stage of the communication strategy to improve the organization's existence in UFO Veterans SMEs in participating in JFMI.
