| Summary: | This study aims to the effect of Working Capital Management and Working Capital Strategy on financial performance in the company's life cycle. This research was conducted on the Food and Beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2011 to 2020. The method used was purposive sampling and a research sample of 35 companies was obtained. The tools used in this research are Microsoft Excel 2016 to analyze the data and IBM SPSS 22 for Hierarchy Linear Method regression analysis. The results of the tests obtained are that the overall working capital management is positively and significantly related to financial performance. These results are in line in terms of the life cycle, Working Capital Management has a positive and significant effect on Financial Performance at the Mature Life Cycle Stage by showing a U-shaped pattern relationship. The Conservative Working Capital Strategy has a significant effect on the Mature and Decline Life Cycle Stages, while the Introduction and Growth Life Cycle Stages do not affect the Conservative Strategy so it is recommended that companies adopt an Aggressive strategy. The results of this study indicate that companies need Working Capital Management tailored to the Working Capital Strategy to achieve sustainable financial performance at every stage of the company's life cycle. |
