| Summary: | Obesity is still one of the nutritional problems in adolescents, which is characterized by a body mass index of more than 25 kg/m2. Obesity is the accumulation of abnormal or excessive fat that poses a risk to health, this condition can be prevented by a healthy lifestyle contained in CERDIK which is an invitation to the Indonesian people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CERDIK health promotion through YouTube on the knowledge of obesity prevention among students at SMPN 9 Jakarta. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a simple random sampling technique. Based on the data collection technique on 23-26 December 2021, a sample of 276 students was obtained. Data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Wilcoxon test at 95% confidence level. The results showed that the p-value = 0.000 on variable the knowledge of "cek kesehatan" and "rajin Aktivitas fisik", and p-value = 0.812 on the knowledge of "diet seimbang". For this reason, it was concluded that there was an effect of intervention on knowledge of "health checks" and "physical activity", but there was no effect on knowledge of "balanced diet". It is hoped that the knowledge gained related to CERDIK can be applied and used as a daily lifestyle so that they still have a body mass index that is in accordance with the normal threshold so as to prevent obesity. |
