| 520 | |a The construction industry is one of the most risky sectors in terms of work accidents. The construction industry in its work uses contractor vendors to support the work. In 2018 there were 8 fatal accidents in the industrial sector and 5 of them occurred at PT. X. One of the causes of the work accident is the negligence of the contractor vendor and the absence of a system that regulates the performance of the vendor's K3. The implementation of the Contractor Quality Safety Management System (CQSMS) is one of the efforts to control contractors' HSE performance in preventing work accidents. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of CQSMS in controlling the HSE performance of vendors at PT. X Year 2021. This study uses a descriptive study design with a qualitative method using in-depth interviews and observations using an audit checklist to see the implementation of CQSMS. The results showed that the application of CQSMS at PT. X 96% is in accordance with the guidelines but there are obstacles at the work in progress stage where the contractor's management commitment does not run optimally so that the risk register reporting is not updated. Therefore, socialization, training, and confirmation of contractors are needed so that all stages of the CQSMS run optimally. | ||
