Summary

In the world of buying and selling online, there are frequent violations against consumers. Violations that often occur through the E-commerce platform. E-commerce is a form of trade that has its own characteristics, namely that sellers and buyers do not meet, using the internet media. According to Article 1 point 2 of Law Number 8 Year 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, what consumers say is every person who uses goods or services available in society, whether from their own interests, family, or other people. One of them is the case of buying masks online in the marketplace, the method used in this study is the normative juridical approach because this legal research uses secondary data derived from primary and secondary legal materials. The results of this study state that in the consumer protection law, business actors should be aware that marketplace consumers are protected by law, with the existence of this law, it is hoped that marketplace users will get goods purchased from the online marketplace platform with quality quality so that no longer exists. cases that are detrimental to marketplace users.
