Zakah is one of the pillars of Islam that must be implemented, zakah is generally divided into 2, zakah maal and zakah fitrah. A mosque is a place for Muslims to perform worship both in congregation and individually. In Indonesia the mosque is also a place for collecting and distributing zakat funds. this potential is only a number if it is not managed properly and effectively. In this study, effectiveness was measured through three indicators (right on target, economic improvement, utilization). Previous research show result, the effectiveness of zakat distribution at the Taqwa Mosque and Baiturrahim Mosque is still not effective because the indicators of economic improvement for mustahiq have not been fulfilled. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of zakat distribution through mosques (case study of Darussalam Mosque, Kota Wisata, Cibubur). The research method used is descriptive qualitative research methods with primary and secondary data sources that will be obtained from interviews, viewing reports related to zakat, observations, and documentation to Amil in Masjid Darussalam, Kota Wisata, Cibubur. The results of this study are expected to be able to assess whether zakah distribution has been carried out effectively or not, and whether it is running according to the sharia corridor or not. The recommendations from this research are expected to be a reference for Amil in Darussalam Mosque, Kota Wisata, Cibubur in distributing zakat funds that have been running. The results of the study show that all indicators have been met and the distribution of zakah at the Darussalam Mosque is effective, with some notes that need to be considered, namely the ZakatPro program which aims to improve living standards is only limited to providing capital assistance, while what is needed is a solution to the difficulty of finding income at this time this.
