KORELASI ASUPAN VITAMIN E DENGAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS KALIWIRO TAHUN 2019

Summary

Anemia in pregnancy is a condition of the mother with Hb < 11g%. Anemia occurs in nearly half of pregnant women. One of the etiology of anemia is micronutrition deficiency, namely Vitamin E. The purpose of this study is to know the correlation between intake of vitamin E with hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in Puskesmas Kaliwiro in 2019. The study uses observational analytical design with cross sectional methods. The sample of the study consisted of 36 respondents collected through simple ramdom sampling and meeting the criteria. Data is analyzed by univariate test and bivariate test (Spearman). The results showed that 12 (33,33%) pregnant women with anemia and 19 (52,8%) pregnant women mothers with insufficient vitamin E intake. This study results showed that there is no correlation between vitamin E intake with hemoglobin level in pregnant women in Puskesmas Kaliwiro in 2019 (p = 0,25).
