A series of chemotherapy medication approved and used is the combination of Cyclophospamide - Adriamycin - Cisplatin (CAP II) in which the yclophosphamide (CP) is in a dose of 400 mg/m². The usage of this medicine can cause infertility on the testical tissue as a side effect of CP, and increased of free radical inside the body inducted by acrolein. Zinc (Zn) which is constituents of superoksida dismutase, has a protection effect towards free radical from physhiological control or pathologic effect to minimize the damaged cells. The purpose of this study is to discover the impact of Zn towards the spermatozoa of a male mencit that is given CP medicine intraperitoneally. This study used In-vivo method that is included in True-experiment by using experiments towards the trial animal which aims to determine the effect of the treatment or experiment. The design used is a post-test plan with group contol. The result of this study indicate a decreased amount of mencit spermatozoa caused by the side effect of CP and high Zn diet. The bivariat outcome using Annove OneWay show results using p-value 0,011 (CI 95%). It is concluded that Zn can effect the spermatozoa amount of a male mencit that is given CP medicine through Intraperioneal. | ||
