Indonesia state has a total labor force that is large and increasing. The impact of work stress cause behavioral symptoms of insomnia that is very detrimental. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between individual characteristic, workload and monotonous work with insomnia in workers production unit PT Cahaya Mandala Depok. This study is a not paired comparative analytical study with cross sectional approach. These samples included 60 people who were taken the saturated sample method on all workers of PT Cahaya Mandala. Test result bivariate with chi-square test and kolmogorov-smirnov shows the realtionship between the period of employment with insomnia (p=0,000), age with insomnia (p=0,001), workload with insomnia (p=0,000), monotonous work with insomnia (p=0,000) and there was no relationship between the gender with insomnia (p=0,810). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between period of employment, age, workload, monotonous work with insomnia and there is no relationship between the gender with insomnia. | ||
