Summary

This research was conducted with the aim to know the difference of perception between accounting students who have not taken sharia accounting courses and accounting students who have taken sharia accounting courses. Population in this study is the S1 accounting students at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta. Sampling in this research is National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta. In this study the sample used is as much as 150 respondents. The technique of determining the sample is to use purposive sampling technique. This research is an empirical research with quantitative approach and using primary data. The analysis technique used in this research is using Statistical Package for Social Science of SPSS 21. Based on data analysis result, it can be concluded that there is no difference of perception between accounting students who have not and who have been taking sharia accounting courses to sharia accounting profession seen from the perspective of paradigm, ethics, competence and labor market considerations.
