Summary

Aircraft is an air transport, to fly it requires a propeller or propeller. The propeller is two blades with airfoil that can convert mechanical energy into aerodynamic force by rotating the propeller from a main axis so that it creates a thrust that can move forward and fly. The use of wood material on the propeller is made of several layers of wood combined into one and generally this wood propeller is of the fixed-pitch one-piece type. The purpose is to get a propeller product made of wood, show the propeller manufacturing process, and show the production costs incurred and the time required for the manufacturing process. The required data was collected to produce a fixed-pitch type propeller made of wood with a length of 143 cm and a mass of 1.42 kg. The propeller manufacturing process requires three manufacturing stages which include the machining process, the joining process, the varnish coating and the painting process. The time required is 39 hours with a total production cost of Rp 1,059,482.6.
