From these problems, a cargo bike was designed that made it easier to carry goods. The design of the cargo bike is carried out so that it can lift goods with variations in loading goods ranging from 60 to 80 kg, and the frame strength is analyzed to determine the value of stress, deformation, and safety factor. The frame material chosen from the research is Aluminum Alloy 6061. There are two design concepts. From the two concepts, the concepts will be selected and selected according to the requirements and expectations with design needs. The simulation results at a thickness of 3 mm and a maximum load of 80 kg showed the results of a maximum stress of 94,1 MPa, a displacement of 0,153 mm, and a safety factor of 2,92. After the simulation, the value of the safety factor that occurs is still relatively large. The value of the safety factor can still be lowered if an optimization process is carried out. after optimization with a thickness of 2 mm and a maximum weight of 80 kg. This shows the results of the maximum stress value of 130 MPa, displacement of 0,206 mm, and the safety factor of 2,11. These results indicate that the frame still meets the standards and is safe to use. | ||
