520 |a Barokah Farm is a layer chicken farm located in Kalibeji Village, Central Java. So far, Barokah Farm has not determined travel routes to distribute eggs to the 29 shops. The distribution does not consider the distance traveled and the time to reach the shop points but only based on the intuition of the driver in determining the route of the trip. Based on these problems, the researcher aims to determine the optimal egg distribution route so that it can reduce the distance and travel time and minimize the distribution costs incurred. As for the completion of the researchers using the Nearest Neighbor method which is one of the simple algorithms used to design an effective route in minimizing process costs. To compare the Nearest Neighbor method, the Clarke and Wright Savings method is used which has the advantage of being more accurate in getting a solution to the problem of a fairly large vehicle route, in this case a large number of routes. Based on the calculation results, it is found that the optimal route generated by the Clarke and Wright Savings method produces 3 tours with a total distance of 180.83 km with a long travel time of 271.25 minutes. With this mileage, distribution costs of Rp. 2,249,072.00 are generated.
