| Summary: | With the increasing human needs and the inefficient use of barter and commodity money, society has developed a more efficient and measurable medium of exchange, namely money. Then as the times progressed, the means of payment were switched from cash to non�cash. Where these obstacles lead to innovation in creating cashless payment instruments that are more practical and efficient. The development of electronic money payment technology has now developed a new service in the form of a digital wallet or e-wallet. With the increasing number of digital payment application users, many businesses offer a variety of digital payments for their business. This paper aims to determine the development of the payment system in Indonesia and analyze the use of QRIS and E-Wallet transactions. The results of this paper indicate that the development of the payment system in Indonesia continues to experience rapid and advanced development which makes a rapid shift in people's consumption patterns due to the wave of digitalization. In addition, the launch of QRIS is considered to be one of the technologies that are starting to develop at this time which can be used as an alternative payment system to facilitate all forms of transactions in support of a cashless society. |
