Nutrition education using media can be proven effective when the media can change and influence adolescent knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference in the effectiveness of nutrition education using posters and videos on the knowledge level of adolescents at SMAN 19 Bekasi in 2022. This study used a quasi-experimental study design without group controls, which was conducted in March-May 2022 at SMAN 19 Bekasi, West Java 2022. The population of this study were all students of class X and XI, with a total sample of 52 people who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling. Data analysis used univariate analysis to find out the distribution description, the percentage of analyzed variables and bivariate analysis using paired samples t test for different tests to see the difference in pretest-posttest scores of independent knowledge T-test for the effectiveness of poster and video media. The results showed that the use of posters increased the average knowledge score (mean) of 76.35 while the video was 85.96. There was a significant difference in knowledge scores between the poster and video groups (p=0.003). So it can be concluded that providing nutrition education with video media is more effective than poster media to increase knowledge of balanced nutrition at SMAN 19 Bekasi in 2022. | ||
