| Summary: | Nurses' prevention of the risk of falling is an effort to implement patient safety targets to improve the quality of nursing services. The non-compliance of the nurse can cause a decrease in the rate due to incidents of falling patients in carrying out the prevention of the risk of losing. The nurse's knowledge and awareness factors affect the implementation of fall risk prevention. This scientific work aims to analyze the performance of education through a checklist to improve compliance with the risk prevention of falls in nurses in hospital inpatient rooms Bhayangkara TK.I Jakarta. The number of nurses who received the intervention was 12 nurses. The observations showed an educational influence on improving compliance with risk prevention of falling in nurses (p-value = 0.001 < 0.05). Increased prevention of the risk of losing by installing yellow stickers the risk sign falls from 58.3% to 100%, positioning the patient's bed at a low position from 33.3% to 83.3%, installing a bed barrier from 41.7% to 100%, educating the behavior to prevent falls in patients from 41.7% to 100%. Educational activities, socialization, and training can increase the knowledge and compliance of nurses in implementing patient safety targets in hospitals. Advice for hospital management to provide training for nurses related to the prevention of fall risk and conduct supervision and evaluation of the implementation of fall risk prevention. |
