Summary

Background: Wrist pain prefer to carpal tunnel syndrome is condition that occured when medianus nerves compression of carpal tunnel. When the muscle receives a static load for a long time, caused increase pressure of carpal tunnel that caused symptoms: sore, anesthetized, tingling, and laxity in hands. Objective: To determine the relationship of duration of work with wrist pain complaints on fuel filler officers at three SPBU. Method: Correlational descriptive with approach cross - sectional. The population refueling officers used total sampling technique with inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria that get a sample of 31 with 11 male and 20 female respondents. Instruments: Boston Carpal Tunnel Questionnaire (BCTQ) to measure carpal tunnel syndrome complaints and general questions to measure duration of work. Data results: Research used SPSS 25 with statistic test obtained spearman test p= 0,126. Conclusion: There is no relationship of duration of work with wrist pain complaints on fuel filler officers at three SPBU.
