Music has many benefits, including as a motivation that has been put by many musicians into the lyrics of the songs they make. Day6 is a band that has many songs that are very relatable to life and have deep meaning. One of Day6's songs that has a deep meaning is "Live Your Life". This study discusses the meaning of motivation contained in the lyrics of the song Live Your Life by Day6. Qualitative methods with Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis approach were used in the preparation of this study. The results show that there is a meaning of motivation in the lyrics of the song "Live Your Life" by Day6, where it is okay if we feel hopeless and lost direction because we are only human beings who are natural to feel like that. But keep getting up, don't be afraid, and try to live life because the world we dream of in the future is waiting and only ourselves can reach it. | ||
