| Summary: | Adolescents have a big and important role in which they are potential leaders and movers in the development of the nation in the future. Adolescence begins at the age of 10 to 13 years or is called early adolescence and ends at the age of 18 to 22 years or is called late adolescence. Adolescents have problems, one of which is unhealthy eating patterns and this causes other problems which are related to the nutritional status of adolescents. Ages 18-22 years are late adolescence who have similar problems which can have an impact on further development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body image with eating pattern and BMI in end adolescent using Instagram Communication Study Program at UPN Veteran Jakarta. This research method is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The sample of this study amounted to 68 people and the sampling procedure in this study used stratified random sampling. The data analysis of this study using the Spearman Rank correlation test. Statistical test results show that there is no significant relationship between body image with eating pattern (p-value 0.179) and there is significant relationship between body image with BMI (p-value 0.000) in end adolescent using Instagram Communication Study Program UPN Veteran Jakarta. |
