Summary

The Information systems are one example of information technology that is growing rapidly in various fields and is widely used as a medium to help facilitate work and improve services, especially in educational institutions. MAN 3 Jakarta, is a Madrasa-based educational institution that pays salaries to teachers and employees every month. However, the salary system for teachers and honorary madrasah employees under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion is different from that of public schools in general. The payroll process obtained from the School Operational Assistance (BOS) fund is still running manually and has not been organized into a system. The purpose of this study is to create an information system that can facilitate salary managers, teachers, and temporary employees at MAN 3 Jakarta. This study was designed by using the waterfall method, with website design using the PHP programming language, and MySQL as the database. With the construction of this payroll system, it is hoped that it can help the efficiency of the payroll process for teachers and temporary employees at MAN 3 Jakarta.
