Summary

Volleyball is a team sport that is able to penetrate all levels of society in Indonesia. A volleyball player is required to have optimal static balance. A volleyball player like any other sport is overshadowed by the risk of injury. This study used a cross-sectional study method with 15 male respondents aged 15-18 years. Measurement of static balance using the stork test. Then the measurement of the risk of injury is carried out using a functional movement screen (FMS). The results obtained on the highest stork test scores were in the affair category with a percentage of 93.3% and FMS values >14 with a percentage of 100%. After the correlation test, it was found that there was no correlation between the stork test and FMS, and the correlation coefficient of 0.259 was positive or unidirectional. The conclusion of this study resulted that there was no relationship between the stork test and FMS.
