Summary:The Family Planning Program is a National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) program that aims to deal with the rate of population growth by using contraceptives. The use of contraception aims to regulate pregnancy, women at reproductive age play an important role in choosing the contraceptive method to be used. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the selection of contraceptive methods by women at reproductive age. This study used cross-sectional with simple random sampling technique. This research was conducted in March-June 2022 with a total sample 114 women at reproductive age in the working area of the Tanjung Priok Health Center. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire given to respondents with data analysis using the chi-square test (α = 0.05). The results of the study found that there was a relationship between knowledge (OR: 0.399; 95% CI: 0.115-1.383), attitudes (OR: 2.545; 95% CI: 1.190-5.445), completeness of facilities (OR: 2.679; 95% CI: 1.233-5.817), exposure to contraceptive information (OR: 2.333; 95% CI: 1.074-5.067), and support from contraceptive service officers (OR: 2.819; 95% CI: 1.294-6.142) with the choice of contraceptive method by women at reproductive age. It is hoped that women at reproductive age can increase their knowledge and insight as well as the right information about the types of long-term contraception to increase participation in the use of long-term contraceptive methods.
