| 520 | |a Sectio Caesarea (SC) delivery is an action that aims to deliver a baby through surgery through the abdominal wall (laparotomy) and uterine wall (hysterectomy). Lack of sleep rest in postpartum mothers can affect sleep quality. Sleep quality is where a person's sleep rest produces freshness and fitness after they wake up. Actions that can be taken to overcome this sleep disorder can be pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. One of the non-pharmacological actions is a progressive muscle relaxation technique that can make the body more relaxed. The application of Evidence Based Nursing Practice aims to determine the results of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on sleep quality in post Sectio Caesarea (SC) mothers. This analysis uses 2 samples of respondents, 1 respondent managed and 1 respondent resume. At the beginning of the study, both patients had the same score from the Groningen Sleep Quality Scale (GSQS) questionnaire, which was 14 which was included in the category of poor sleep quality. The results showed that the managed patients who were given the intervention had a score decreased to 6, which means that their sleep quality has increased and can be categorized as adequate sleep quality. Meanwhile, patients whose resume was not given intervention dropped to a score of 12 which could be categorized as poor sleep quality. | ||
