| Summary: | Construction work is a job with a complex and detailed process in every area of its implementation and involves many things and parts. One of the high-risk jobs in the construction sector is working at heights. The Parc Southcity apartment project is a construction project that is a construction project that has work at heights with a high risk of work accidents. One way to minimize this risk is to comply with SOP of working at heights. This study aimed to determine the factors of worker compliance with the application of SOP of working at heights. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design and using chi-square test to analyze the data. The respondents in this study amounted to 66 people by total sampling technique selection. The results showed that 39 out of 66 workers (59.1%) complied with the application of SOP of working at heights. From this research, it is known that supervision (p-value = 0.002; OR = 5.80; 95% CI = 1.97-17.00) and training (p-value = 0.000; OR = 10.93; 95% CI = 3.037- 39.46) have a significant relationship with worker compliance of SOP of working at height. The company could continue to improve the supervision throughout the project work environment by coordinating with all components to participate in carrying out supervision and increase training to work at height by involving workers in training held by external parties. |
