| Summary: | Work fatigue is a condition where a person feels tired due to his work. Work fatigue in nurses can be caused by various internal and external factors which if not anticipated properly can cause illness in nurses and pose a risk to the safety and health of the patients they treat. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors for work fatigue in the morning shift nurse in the inpatient internal medicine installation at Rs dr. Suyoto in 2022. This research uses quantitative analytical methods with a cross sectional study design. The population of this study was 75 nurses with a total sampling technique. The results of the chi square test obtained variables of age (p-value = 0.255), gender (p-value = 0.288), years of service (p-value = 0.462), marital status (p-value = 1.00), work stress ( p-value=0.00), and workload (p-value=0.976). The conclusion of this study is that the work stress variable is related to work fatigue. While the variables of age, gender, years of service, marital status, and workload are not related to work fatigue. Suggestions for hospitals are to conduct socialization related to prevention, impact, symptoms, and causes of work fatigue. |
