The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to provide an overview of nursing care for pediatric patients who experience anxiety problems and to implement puzzle play therapy to overcome anxiety problems. Therapy has the benefit of developing a child's thinking and imagination so that it helps children find ways to solve problems. Puzzle Play Therapy is done once a day for 20-30 minutes before taking action on children for three days. Data collection using HARS questionnaire sheets and SOP sheets. Implementation carried out for three days in patients managed by An. P who received the intervention was a decrease in anxiety scores and anxiety levels, namely a score of 24 (moderate anxiety) to a score of 17 (mild anxiety). In the resume patient, namely An. A who was not given moderate intervention, it only reduced the score but did not reduce the level of anxiety, namely a score of 25 (anxiety) to a score of 21 (anxiety). These results indicate the effect of puzzle play therapy on reducing anxiety scores in children. The author recommends offering puzzle play therapy to children as an innovative intervention to overcome anxiety problems when children undergo hospitalization.
